Would it be Sauron? My LotR trivia really kinda sucks when it comes to the really hard stuff.
I don't have any LotR related riddles so anybody can take up the next one if I SOMEHOW get it right.

Okay, FINE. If I quote it maybe I can figure it out. Accursed man who marched with death dealt foe, the seed of one as Black as Melkor's name renowned. Accursed man... marched with death dealt foe... Nessa, I don't understand! WHO was a black as Melkor's name renowned!?

It is not asking for who is as black as Melkor's name renowned. It is asking for the seed (child) of that person, who is the Accursed man. Melkor becomes known as Morgoth, which translates to 'Black Foe'. The Accursed man was killed in battle by someone he had marched to the battle with. Why would you kill someone you marched to battle with?

I was right, it's a headache. Um... random off the wall guess. It is possibly Aragorn, the seed (decendant) of Isildor who was killed by the Ring, which he had on his finger when going to war once?

No!!!!!!!!!!! Seed=Child!!!! BIG HINT: Which man is called 'the Accursed'? His FATHER is called 'the Black'.
Why do you kill someone you marched to battle with? Because they BETRAYED you! BIG TIME!

*pats* I'll answer just to get this riddle past, but I don't have one. Also, because Nessa told me the answer and few of us, other than maybe Carmelor have studied Arda's history THAT well.
Uldor the accursed, son of Ulfang the black who was killed by Maglor for betraying him.

'THAT well'... Had Ulfang, Uldor, and the men who followed them remained loyal, the two armies would have been able to join, and Nirnaeth Arnoediad would have ended much differently than it did...
Now you must come up with a riddle.
